Goldwasser
Goldwasser is a spicy, herbal liqueur made in Poland and Germany. The original Danziger Goldwasser is the oldest branded spirit in the world dating back to 1598. It has a tangy flavor without being hot. the attraction is the flakes of real gold in the bottle that are edible. Gold was believed to have healing properties by the 16th century doctors. Goldwasser was a personal favorite of Russia Tsars Peter and Catherine the Great.
