Adonis – Apéritif & Low Alcohol
The Adonis is a classic apéritif cocktail. It was first mixed in 1886 to celebrate the success of the Broadway musical, Adonis. It combines dry sherry with sweet vermouth, and a few drops of orange bitters. Being a relatively smooth and mild little cocktail, the Adonis is a perfect year-around drink. The amount of the each ingredient can vary depending on the individual taste.
