The Alfonso cocktail is well suited for a lazy Sunday afternoon drinking. Dubonnet is a French apéritif, and gives the drink a slightly sweet note. This sparkling cocktail is named after King Alfonso XIII of Spain, who first tasted it while he was exiled in France in 1841. A wonderful alternative to a Champagne Cocktail.
