Bacardi Cocktail – Refreshing & Slight Sweetness

The Bacardi Cocktail was very popular during the prohibition with people who could afford to travel to Havana, Cuba. In those days, it was considered a sophisticate’s drink, and was on every cocktail menu around the city. The Bacardi Cocktail made with any rum brand was so popular in New York city nightclubs in the mid 1930s that Bacardi went to court to sue that no other rum could be used to make the cocktail. It is essentially a Daiquiri sweetened with a few drops of grenadine syrup. When other drinks seems to harsh or to alcoholic, order a Bacardi Cocktail.
