Cersei

Ingredients

Fresh Strawberries
1 tsp of Honey
5 oz Red Wine
1/2 oz Grand-Marnier

Convert Units

Muddle and Shake

1. In a mixing glass put strawberries, and add liquid honey.

2. Muddle well.

3. Add a scoop of ice.

4. Pour in red wine and Grand Marnier liqueur.

5. Shake.

6. Strain into a wine glass.

7. Garnish with a fresh strawberry.

Variation

We used Merlot but you can use any fruity style red wine.

The Cersei is a Game Of Thrones theme cocktail. A toast to Cersei Lannister, the queen regent of the seven Kingdoms. She disdains everyone but she likes her wine. The Cersei is an adaptation of the contemporary Whisky Mash cocktail from Dale DeGroff. If you love Sangria, you will definitely love this cocktail. Sangria is the Spanish word for bleeding, coming from sangre meaning blood, or the colour of blood as red wine is.
