French 95 – Sparkling

Ingredients

1 oz Kentucky Bourbon
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon juice
1/2 oz Simple syrup
Champagne

Convert Units

Stir & Strain & Build

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.

2. Pour in bourbon, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and simple syrup.

3. Stir.

4. Strain into a Champagne flute.

5. Fill up with Champagne.

EXECUTION NOTE

Make sure the Champagne is well-chilled.

Variation

Substitute sparkling wine for the Champagne.
Using vodka instead of gin, it becomes a French 76.
