The Rickey is a highball drink made from a base of spirit, lime juice, and fresh lime squeezed and dropped in the glass, with soda water. It was named after colonel ‘Joe’ Rickey, a lobbyist who died in 1903. The Gin Rickey combines gin, lime juice, and soda water. Gin Rickey is tasty, refreshing and a good alternative to a Gin & Tonic.
