Luigi Martini

Ingredients

1 oz Gin London Dry
1 oz Lillet White
1/2 oz Licor 43
2 oz Mango juice

Shake & Strain

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.

2. Pour in gin, Lillet White, Licor 43, and mango juice.

3. Shake.

4. Strain into a martini glass.

5. Garnish with an orange peel.

Variation

If you can not find Licor 43, use Galliano liqueur instead. You can substitute orange juice for the mango juice.

Gin is a good spirit to experiment within cocktail creation. Sometimes it stands out in a drink, other times it integrates all the other ingredients like in this Luigi martini. It is an exciting time for bartenders with all the new flavoured gins on the market, ranging from cucumber and rose petals to ginger. This rich, flavourful libation is a good marriage of fruit, botanical, and alcohol.
