Moonraker – Highball

Ingredients

3/4 oz Bols Blue Curacao
1 oz Calvados
1 oz Amber Rum
1/2 oz Orgeat syrup
1 oz Lime juice
3 oz Pineapple juice

Convert Units

Build

1. Fill a Collins glass with ice.

2. First, pour in the blue Curaçao.

3. Then add Calvados, amber rum, orgeat syrup, lime juice, and pineapple juice.

4. Garnish with pineapple and cherry.

Variation

Substitute simple syrup for the orgeat syrup. You can use amaretto liqueur instead of orgeat syrup.

This Moonracker highball is an original recipe from Cocktail Hunter to celebrate Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield. The Moonraker is a fruity and semi-sweet long drink that looks so pretty. We used Calvados for the apple brandy, and orgeat syrup to add a hint of nutty flavour.
