Pink Squirrel – Martini

Ingredients

1 oz Hiram Walker crème de noyau
1 oz Hiram Walker White Crème De Cacao
1 oz Cream

Convert Units

Shake & Strain

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes.

2. Pour in all the ingredients.

3. Shake.

4. Strain into a champagne saucer.

5. Garnish with a cherry.

Variation

Often amaretto liqueur is used instead of crème de noyau, but your drink will not be pink. You can add 2 to 3 drops of grenadine that will give it a shade of pink colour.

Pink Squirrel – Creamy & Sweet

The Pink Squirrel is another rich, creamy, retro pinkish cocktail. A popular drink from the 60s, the Pink Squirrel was mentioned in one episode of the T.V. sitcom Rosanne, her friend Crystal said it was her favourite drink. It combines crème de noyau with white crème de cacao and cream. Crème de Noyaux is a classic 19th-century French liqueur made with distilled apricot and cherry pit kernels, combined with bitter almonds and other botanicals.
