The Rob Roy martini cocktail is for Scotch whisky lovers. It is a mellow version of the classic Manhattan made with whisky. Often made with Bourbon in the US. The Rob Roy was created in 1894 by a bartender at the Waldorf Astoria in New York. You can go lighter on the Scotch, and heavier on the vermouth for a sweeter Rob Roy.
