Rum Swizzle – Exotic & Fruity
A Rum Swizzle in celebration of Bermuda Day. It is also traditionally the first day on which Bermuda shorts are worn as business attire. Rum Swizzle is often called ‘Bermuda’s national drink’. Swizzle also refers to the swizzle stick product name. A multitude of Rum Swizzle drinks exist, and different bartenders have their own interpretation. One of the older recipes was presented in the 1941 old Mr. Boston de Luxe Official Bartender Guide. Today the Rum Swizzle is often associated with The Swizzle Inn, Bermuda’s oldest (established in 1932), and most famous pub whose motto is “Swizzle in, Swagger out”. Rum Swizzle is a delicious, fruity tropical drink, and a perfect escape to your own tropical paradise in your own backyard.
