The Tequila Sunrise is a classic holiday cocktail. It is thought to have been created in the 1950 in Mexico as a mix to welcome tourists to the vacation hot spot of Acapulco. Another interesting story suggest that the Tequila Sunrise was invented at the Agua Caliente racetrack for Californians who spent the night betting on horses while drinking too much. The cocktail was considered a pick-me up for the bettors. Whatever its origins, this is a wonderful, colourful, vibrant, and refreshing drink that looks and taste great.
