Whisky Sour is a refreshing tangy classic cocktail. The drink belongs in the sour category, of which the Whisky Sour is the the most popular member, and date back to the 1880’s. Fresh lemon juice adds the tartness, which the Cointreau tames. The drink is served in a Sour glass, which was created especially for this delightful libation. Cointreau is my go-to orange liqueur, but you can also used simple syrup for this recipe. Using an egg white is safe as long as you know that it is fresh.
