Ingredients

1 oz White rum
1 oz Amber Rum
1 oz Dark Rum
1 1/2 oz Orange juice
2 oz Pineapple juice
1 oz Sour mix
1/2 oz Apricot Brandy Liqueur
1/2 oz Orgeat syrup

Convert Units

Shake & Pour

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.

2. Add all the ingredients EXCEPT overproof rum and grenadine .

3. Shake well.

4. Pour into a hurricane glass.

5. Float overprof rum and grenadine on top.

6. Garnish with a fruit stick.

The Zombie is a strong rum punch. The object is to get as many different rums as possible into one drink. It was the signature cocktail of the Don the Beachcomber restaurant, and therefore the cocktail that launched the Tiki bar craze, and it is also one of the strongest Tiki drinks. The individual ingredients of this cocktail, including liqueurs and fruit juices, vary considerably from one recipe to another, but all Zombies contain a mixture of white, golden, and dark rum. The Zombie is the perfect exotic drink to enjoy during a summery day.
