alize-coco blogAlizé Coco

Coconut has been a popular flavour in tropical-tiki style drinks, and now it seems to have reached the modern urban jungle. Alizé launched the coconut-flavoured liqueur Alizé Coco in 2012. Following the successful debut of Coco original the brand has introduced two new flavours: Coco pineapple, and Coco peach.

It took a while, but finally Alizé Coco has reached British Columbia, and my liquor cabinet. The liqueur is made from passionfruit nectar and natural coconut infused with premium spirits. It is very aromatic, with a light syrupy texture, and has a milky colour. It is sweet, with exotic fruit flavours and coconut. You can drink Coco on its own, chilled or over ice. I think that this liqueur is better suited in mixed drinks. If you are planning a Trader Vic’s Tiki party, this is a liqueur that you must have on hand. There are many sizzling summer days left until the fall so visit Cocktail Hunter for new original sun-kissed concoctions.

Try a fabulous LimonCoco cocktail.

Cheers!
