The Pink Gin is a light and refreshing martini. The origin of this cocktail lies with the English Navy, sailors drank gin to fortify themselves against sea life and took the bitters to cure their upset stomachs. It took no time for the sailors to marry the two ingredients, and promoting it as a medicinal libation for long sea voyage. It is said that the Gin originated in Plymouth, England, which was the first commercial gin spirits made from the Coates Plymouth Gin distillery.
