Olé! Mexican Prairie Fire Shot. This one is hot! Prairie Fire is a mixed drink consisting of a hot spirit and hot sauce. The origin of the shot is unknown but the earliest known style of the drink is believed to have originated from the American Mid-West in the early 1970 when patrons were forced to drink hot sauce with shots of whisky. Many variations of Prairie Fire Shot exist. This drink is particularly popular with the university crowd.
