Black Widow Shot – Semi-sweet
The Black Widow shot is a very easy shooter to make, and the Black Sambuca tops this eerie little drink nicely. This is one of those recipes in which the color of the liqueur is key. We used black Sambuca, a black coloured Italian anise flavored-liqueur. Its flavour goes well with strawberry liqueur. Passione Nera, (Italian Black Sambuca) is a variation on the traditional Sambuca dei Cesari from Luxardo. It is aromatised with licorice using a recipe which entails multiple levels of successive infusions to blend the different ingredients. Black Sambuca is a well defined, unique product.
