Faux Manuka Flip – Christmassy

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Vodka
1 tsp of Honey
1/2 oz Herbal Liqueur
Half egg yolk
Cinnamon
1/4 oz Apple Juice
Heavy Cream

Convert Units

Shake & Strain

1. Fill halfway a mixing glass with ice.

2. Add in vodka, honey, Bénédictine herbal liqueur, egg yolk, dash of cinnamon, apple juice, and cream.

3. Shake vigorously to bind the ingredients to create a velvety texture.

4. Pour into a rock glass.

5. Garnish with an orange wedge.

NOTE

When working with eggs, it is essential to ensure that they are fresh.

Variation

Benedictine liqueur is a premium French product, and not available everywhere. Other herbal liqueurs (drier than Benedictine) are: Yellow Chartreuse, Izarra, Strega, and Jagermeister.
