Goldschläger is a cinnamon schnapps produced in Switzerland, and it is bottled at 43.5% abv ( 87 proof ). It is famous for having thin, yet visible flakes of gold floating in it that are edible. It combines a sweet syrupy taste with a hot spicy flavours that linger delivering a seriously hot spiced finish. While most people prefer to drink Goldschläger as a shot, it can also be used in mixed drinks.
